Water Company Rate Increase Hearing

Timber Lakes Water Special Service District has scheduled its FEBRUARY meeting for FEBRUARY 21, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. at the Wasatch County Building located at 25 North Main St. in the Council Chambers, Heber City, Utah. The District will discuss the proposed water rate increase in the meeting and then hold a public hearing at 6:00 pm to take public comment from Timber Lakes owners, limited to 2 minutes per person, on the District’s 2023 proposed rate increase. Snowmobile & Winter Gear Swap

Join us at the Timber Lakes Firehouse for a pancake breakfast and winter gear swap. Meet your snowmobiling neighbors and learn about the access easement. To participate in the gear swap, bring your items on hangers, tagged with your price, and your Venmo scannable ID. Please bring a table or a rack to display your items.

Annual Christmas Event

Timber Lakes Firehouse. You won't want to miss this one! We have it on good authority that Santa and Mrs. Clause will be attending and possibly carry Santa’s Christmas Bag full of goodies for the kids! And we believe The Grinch did not want to be outdone and is planning on attending as well! To keep everyone warm, we will have hot soups and hot cocoa.

Last Day Snowmobile Gate Will Be Open

April 7, 2024 is the tentative last day for the snowmobile gate to be open. The actual closing date depends on the snow remaining on the access roads to the gate. If the snow on the access roads melts off before then the gate will be closed earlier.

Kids Clay Pot Contest

Clay Flower Pots for Mother's Day. Starting April 9, pick up your clay pot at the office, take it home and color it. Bring it back to the office by April 26. Pots will be displayed. Scheduled Power Outage

Heber Light and Power has scheduled a power outage for residents in the Witt's Lake area. It may affect around 50 lots in the area. Please contact Heber Light and Power @ (435) 654-1581 with any questions.

Wood Chip Loading Day

Spaces are first come, first served. Rain or shine. You must take your left over items back home. Please have cash for making purchases or change. Online transactions will not likely work due to poor phone reception in the area. NO DISPOSAL IN OUR DUMPSTERS. One or two trailers will be available at 1 PM for items you want taken to the landfill for $20 per household. No dangerous materials or tires. We will take appliances.

Mag Chloride Application

Blue Spruce and Timber Lakes Drive. Try to avoid these roads. If you have to use them, keep your speed at at maximum of 5 mph to avoid splashing the mag chloride onto your vehicle.

Coyote Gulch MTB Volunteers Needed

This could be our final community volunteer weekend to finish the work needed on the Coyote Gulch MTB trail project. We’ll be up there with tools from 9:00-12:00 both days (Saturday and Sunday). A small section is all that is left of the new trail to groom. Once the new section is finished there is some touch up on the old top section needed, mostly just trimming branches.

Log Arch Entrance Removal

We are planning to remove the arch at the entrance this Wednesday early morning. We plan to start between 5:30 and 6:00 in the morning before we have too much traffic in the area. We don't plan to block the exit except for equipment relocation and for any unforeseen issues, but will keep blockage to a minimum. Thank you for your understanding of any delays this may cause, but we will work as quickly as we can.

Moose Trail Volunteer Day

Moose Trail needs some TLC. Meet at the Moose Trail parking area on Racoon at 9:00 am. We need a couple of chainsaws and other trail tools (clippers, snippers, etc.) Wear sturdy shoes or boots, gloves, and eye protection. Bring water!
