Welcome to Timber Lakes, Utah
Timber Lakes Estates is located approximately seven (7) miles east of Heber City, Utah in Lake Creek Canyon. It is a gated private community that was established in 1971. The subdivision has 1537 lots, averaging about one acre in size. Lot owners are members of the Timber Lakes Property Owners Association (TLPOA), a private non-profit Utah corporation, organized in 1979. Within the subdivision, there are approximately 750 dwellings. The elevation at the entrance is 6600 feet above sea level and rises to about 9000 feet. There are approximately two miles of paved road and in excess of 30 miles of gravel roads. The area is wooded with the lower elevations populated with scrub oak, sagebrush, buck brush, choke cherry and rabbit brush. The higher elevations have aspen and fir trees. Wild flowers are profuse in the springtime and summer. There are several small lakes and ponds. Deer, moose, fox, raccoons, porcupines, badgers, squirrels, chipmunks and many varieties of birds inhabit the area. Occasionally coyotes, elk and bear have been spotted in the subdivision.
