With the start of the construction season coming up, you can significantly streamline the plan approval process for new cabins, additions or remodeling projects, by following some simple guidelines:

  1. Lot owners should visit the Construction Information link on this website to review all Timber Lakes documents and requirements for plan approval. Verify that your plans conform to all CC&R’s and Architectural Control Regulations before submittal. Review the Construction Bond and Fee Schedule.
  2. Plans should be thorough and indicate all necessary information required for a proper plan review. Information such as Lot number; street name; plat number, total square footage, building material types, setbacks, and building heights should be designated on the drawings.
  3. Fill out the Plan Approval Application completely and accurately and provide the proper amount of sets for review. Submit your plan application package at the TLPOA office. Pick up your plans there after the review is complete.

The normal time to review plans is generally 1-2 weeks. Please do not expect same-day turn-around service. We need to verify your application as to official lot owner, location and current status of dues and assessments.
